Trinity Rodman is finally back. The U.S. women's national team on Tuesday announced the 24-player training camp roster for the upcoming April international window, when they will face Brazil in a pair of friendlies.
Emma Hayes' squad features the return of Rodman, who last appeared for the USWNT in the gold medal game at the Paris Olympics, and includes 19 of the 23 players who represented the U.S. at the 2025 SheBelieves Cup. Also making a return is defender Alana Cook, who received her first call-up since 2023, while Houston Dash defender Avery Patterson earned her first call-up to the national team.
“This roster has Olympians returning, less experienced players continuing to try to prove themselves, a few uncapped players and some players who have seen and done it all," Hayes said in a statement. "The mix of players along with two games against a dynamic Brazil team who we last saw in the gold medal game means this event will be a lot of fun.
“All of the players know they have to earn every roster spot, every starting spot and every minute they get as a finisher off the bench. Working with players who are striving for consistency in elite performance, so they can keep getting call-ups and keep excelling at this level, is an exciting process and one that continues with these two games.”
The USWNT lost their first match in Hayes' 18-game tenure with the program in February, as Japan claimed a 2-1 win in the SheBelieves Cup finals. Previously Hayes had won 15 and drawn two in the first 17 matches she coached since taking over the team in June of 2024.

Notable names missing from the roster are the other two members of the famed "Triple Espresso" in Sophia Wilson and Mallory Swanson – along with fullbacks Jenna Nighswonger and Gisele Thompson, as well as midfielder Rose Lavelle and defender Naomi Girma.
Wilson recently announced she is pregnant. Swanson, meanwhile, began the 2025 NWSL season on the sideline for Chicago due to personal reasons, while Girma has been dealing with an injury after her record-transfer move to Chelsea in January. Lavelle has been sidelined to begin the campaign.
Hayes has also included two training players on the roster in Chelsea striker Mia Fishel and Angel City goalkeeper Angelina Anderson. Fishel returned to competitive action for the last weekend for the first time since tearing her ACL in February, 2024.
The roster includes 17 players from the NWSL, and seven from Europe.
